Summary

ListRandom is designed so your pasted lists are processed in your browser to shuffle, pick, or group items. We do not need you to create an account to use the tool.

List data

The text you paste into the randomizer stays in your browser session for generating results. It is not uploaded to our servers as part of running Shuffle, Pick, or Groups.

Analytics and hosting

Like most websites, our host and any analytics we enable may receive standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use this to understand traffic and keep the site reliable—not to read the contents of your lists.

Local storage

If you enable “Remember list on this page,” we store your list and tool settings for that URL path in your browser’s local storage only. Other pages keep their own lists. We do not upload remembered lists to our servers. You can clear a page’s memory by turning the option off, or by clearing site data in your browser.

Cookies

Essential hosting cookies may be set by our infrastructure. If we add optional analytics cookies, you can control them through your browser settings.

Advertising

We may display ads (for example Google AdSense) to support the free tool. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
