Frequently asked questions

Is the shuffle fair?

Yes. We use Fisher–Yates with cryptographic randomness when your browser supports it, so each order is equally likely.

Can I randomise a list (UK spelling)?

Yes—same tool. Paste your list and shuffle; British and American spellings refer to the same action.

Can I use this for classroom speaking order?

Yes. Paste student names, run Shuffle, and follow the new order. For a ready-made roster page, open the meeting speaking-order list under Lists.

Does ListRandom upload my list?

No. Shuffling runs in your browser. Optional “Remember list on this page” stays in local storage only.
