What this picker is for

Trivia nights, “who do we draw for,” Nuzlocke-style challenge seeds, or classroom rewards themed around Pokémon. It is not an official Pokémon Company product and does not include moves, types, or stats.

The spin wheel only works cleanly with about 36 or fewer names—trim to starters or a shortlist first. For later generations, paste your own names into the same tool.

Drafts and shortlists

Fantasy-style drafts: Shuffle the full list or a trimmed shortlist for pick order. Live wheel reveals: delete down to a shortlist, then enable Spin wheel.

How to use this list

Tips for this scenario

  • Starters only: keep Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle lines (and evolutions if you want).
  • Not affiliated with Nintendo or The Pokémon Company—fan convenience list.
  • Combine with draft order when players need a pick sequence of trainers, not species.

Are all 151 included?

Yes—the original Generation I English names.

Why can’t I spin the wheel on the full list?

The wheel is limited to about 36 slices. Trim the list or use Pick on the full 151 instead.

Can I add Gen 2 or later?

Paste more names onto the list. This page ships Gen 1 as the default pack.

Is this a ranking of best Pokémon?

No. Equal odds unless you edit or weight lines.
